A Free SElf-guided trail of Films around Cradle Mountain

The Mountain Huts Film Trail is the signature event of the Cradle Mountain Film Fest, but has been cancelled for 2020.

This is what you can expect in 2021:

Register and collect a FREE trail map from the Cradle Mountain Canyons office at the Visitor Centre, then choose your path around five mountain huts to see a specially curated program of short films throughout the day. Films are screened as you arrive, in group sizes of 1-12.

Some of the huts are not usually open to the public, so you get extra-special access and will see 100% off-grid projection in these remote locations. The entire trail will take between 4-6 hours, depending on your walking speed between huts, with 1.5 hours of short films. You can choose which huts to visit if you’re running out of steam or time!

Complete the entire trail to go in the running for great prizes! You'll need a valid Parks Pass and to use the shuttle bus to either Ronny Creek or Dove Lake to start the trail. BYO food, drinks, wet weather gear, sun protection, sturdy shoes and sense of adventure!
